You lucky dogs! We can't find even ONE lake in our area to run on! Is the pond by the flying field salt water? Looks like a canal running off of it. minicatracingusa.com/WFMBCHOME.html

nope its fresh water and the canal just goes a few thousand feet and dead ends if we ever have big races were going to block it off with rope and pool noodles but there never boats and ya theres a flying field on the front side of the park

Hi, Its great to see some of you are getting together in the cape and running boats. I have several fast electrics(brushless) and some large gas boats. If you post what pond you go to on Sunday I would check it out. I've been running boats in the chicquita pond for several years now, and have run extremely fast boats there. Here are a few of my boats, seeya at the lake!
1/12 Bud Boat, 1700Kv 600XL BL, Castle Hydra 120, 6s 4400mah 20C LIPO
33"Delta Force, NEU 1515 2200Kv BL Castle Hydra 240, 6s TP 8000mah 20C LIPO
45" Seaducer, 26cc mod zenoah, quikdraw pipe
SV27, FDM 2050Kv BL, Hacker NAVY 77, 4s SMC 5000mah 22C LIPO

Yea, thats great. I might go this weekend. They also run large gas boats every sunday at the lake in front of the sheriffs office on Gladiolus, 60mph gas hydros - I'f you want to run big gas stuff thats the place to go. I'd like to find 4 - 6 people that would be interested in racing a 1/12 electric hydros. The new UL-1 from aquacraft is fast out of the box. They are smaller and more affordable, at only $300 each plus batteries. It would be a blast to race them.
